I'm sitting on the toilet in the kids' bathroom and realize they are out of toilet paper....
Me: "Kason, run into mommy's bathroom and get a roll of toilet paper." (Knowing we had just bought new toilet paper and the big bag of rolls was sitting on the floor, the shelves have just been restocked, and a brand-new one was on the roll...)
Kason: "Ok mom"... runs off to the other bathroom... comes back empty handed.
He comes over and says as he points to the empty roll, "A roll like this?"
Me: "Yes, a roll just like that, a new one, on the shelf or in the bag in mommy's bathroom."
He runs off again... comes back with 2 squares...
Me: "Ok, that will work for now but try one more time to get a whole roll... run and bring me the whole roll."
and says "Here you go mom!"
He cracks me up. I couldn't even get mad because it was too funny! :)
