Brooklyn had her 1st grade President's Day program a few weeks ago. She did such a good job and the program was really well done. I was impressed that the kids were able to learn all those songs about our country. My favorite was "God Bless the USA". It brought tears to my eyes listening to these kids sing about the soldiers who died for our freedom.
Without this little program, President's Day would have passed me by, without a second thought about our country and all we have been given. I'm glad their program was about something so important, to help me remember the freedoms we enjoy and how we got them.
