We just got back from our weekend trip to Beaver Mountain. It was so nice to get out of the heat of St. George. Our camp spot was beautiful with a gorgeous view. The top picture is a panorama of our camp. Our trailer is in the middle, clear back in the trees. :) It was sooo nice. We wore long pants all day and a jacket in the evening... and that was perfectly comfortable.Russ and Michelle brought their horses up so that was fun for all the kids... and Bob. :) He really enjoys riding horses out in the mountains. In fact, Bob, my mom, and Michelle all went on a horse ride and came up to a herd of elk. They practically walked right up to them before they took off. The 3 decided to ride their horses behind them... they said it was like herding cattle! They said they got about 50 yards away from them before they took off. Check out how many elk!
In the evenings we would go spotlighting for deer and elk. The kids really enjoyed getting out and seeing the animals. We also set up a badmitten net for the kids. Between the 4 wheelers, badmitten, deer walking right into our camp, horse rides, elk, and cool weather... we really didn't' want to come home! :)

Wow, that place is beautiful. I don't think I would have wanted to come home either, especially since it is about 110 degrees here!
hey, will you e-mail me the camp pic?
