One Fun Day...

Carie posted in the Girls Day facebook group that she was going to the Main Street Splash Pad on Friday so we decided it would be fun to meet up with her.  I grabbed the kids some Wendy's and we were off!  Carie had a nice spot in the shade so it wasn't too hot. :)

The kids had a ball playing. Aiden cracks me up. You have to physically pick him up and put him in the water before he'll get in... but once you do that... you can't get him back out again! :)

While Carie and I were watching the kids play, she mentioned that she was taking her kids to the movie in the park.  I decided it would be fun to go too.  Carie saved us a spot (thank you Carie!) and we settled in to watch Shrek (the last one).  The kids wanted to watch the movie with Avery so they went up onto Jessica's blanket.  When Aiden went to lay down and watch the movie, he couldn't see either (some people were sitting in lawn chairs in front of us).  We decided to take him up to Jess's blanket too so he could see. (Thanks Jess for letting us squish in.)

Aiden's favorite part was lounging on the blankets. He thought that was great. :) The kids liked eating popcorn, drinking rootbeer, and watching the movie outside. :)
