Disneyland

Yay for Disneyland! Although it's nice to come home, I'm sad the trip is over already. We had such an amazing time. We started our trip on Saturday morning. (We decided to push our trip back a few days to avoid the rain.) We drove down there in 6 1/2 hours... which is pretty good time considering we had two vehicles and 15 people. :)

After we got checked in to the hotel, we headed out to the Angel's game at Angel's Stadium. My kids had never been to a professional ball-game so that was a fun experience. We got cotton candy and hotdogs in the true spirit of the game. :) The game actually went to the 14th inning, but we decided to leave after the 10th. It was getting pretty cold for the little ones. Probably for the first time in history... Bob and I watched the end of the game on the TV. If you know Bob, you know he doesn't like to watch sports... so even I was surprised when he wanted to see how the game ended. We all had a good time and it was a great way to start out the trip.

The next morning we were up early heading to Disneyland. It was sooo busy. People everywhere. The weather was perfect which I'm sure helped the crowd situation. We went to Tomorrowland first. We did a fast pass for the Buzz ride, then went and rode Space Mountain. Brooklyn even went... but that was not a good idea!! It scared her half to death. I'm not sure what I was thinking putting her on that roller coaster right off the bat! :) She brushed it off and said she wouldn't go on that one ever again... and we were off to the next ones. The submarine ride was fun for the kids... not so much for Bob. :) I keep telling him his claustrophobia is all in his head... he doesn't believe me. :)

We spent a few more hours in Disneyland, then went to California Adventure. We rode the Tower of Terror, and Screamin, Toy Story, and Soarin over California. They were all way fun. :) We did the Talk to Crush thing too which was funny. We stayed pretty late the first night, to watch the World of Color water show. It was awesome. Loved it. We were exhausted by the time we got back to the room though and went right to bed.

The next day we headed back to Disneyland. We let Brooklyn and Addie see the princesses and Minnie Mouse. Then we finished up a few more rides in Disneyland before heading back to California Adventure. I was surprised that we were able to do everything we wanted to do with such a big group and so many little kids. :)

Brooklyn loved the roller coaster in Toon Town. It was one of her favorites... that one and the Tower of Terror. She really liked the free fall on that one too. (It is by far my favorite ride.) Kason's favorite was Soarin over California. He really thought we were going in a helicopter to fly. It was so cute. He said to me, "Mom! This is so Awesome!" Aiden was the BEST KID EVER. He didn't whine or argue at all. He stayed in his stroller with the corner of his blanket up to his nose. :) He was such a good kid... Carlee too. :) All in all, it was an AMAZING trip! :)

Thanks to my Dad for taking us on this great trip! We wouldn't have been able to go if it weren't for him! :)
