The kids woke up Easter Morning to find that the Easter Bunny had left them baskets full of cool things. They each got a pair of shorts and a swimsuit, along with treats and a Skyball in their baskets. They were very excited and very grateful. :) Brooklyn kept telling me how lucky she was the Easter Bunny brought her such fun stuff. :) After the kids played in their baskets, we started getting ready for our Easter activities my mom planned for all her grandchildren.
She started it off with a Treasure Hunt. I didn't get any pictures :( because I was helping the kids with the clues and carrying Aiden. It was really fun though. The ended in the sandbox digging out their "treasure" we had buried. Next came the relay game. There were two teams of children and adults. They each had to do funny things across the grass. My favorite was watching Ken and Garrett run on all fours across the grass and back. :) Next was a minute to win it guessing game. We put 1 coin in an egg, then 2 coins in another, then 3, and so on. Then the kids had to put the ends in the right order. Brooklyn and Landon both won that one and got to split the money inside the eggs. Next was the pinata. There were no Easter ones so we had a Spongebob one instead. Landon was the one to break it open! :) My mom had also set up her bounce house and made cupcakes too. It was such a fun day for all the kids! :) Thanks to my mom for doing all that work for our kids! :)
Luckily we finished all our activities before the wind and rain started! Seriously... about an hour after we finished up it started pouring outside!
