Riding Bikes

Kason has learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!!! :) We started working on it last week, but after he rode for a bit, he wanted them put back on. :) He couldn't quite get the feel for it and the bike tipping scared him. I wasn't going to push it so I put the training wheels back on, but lifted them higher so he could practice balancing.

Finally, he told Bob that he was ready to take them off again. They came off on Saturday morning (Aug. 6th). Bob and Dusty helped him for a little while, but then we went out on the boat.

On Sunday afternoon he told me to come outside and watch him... sure enough... he had it down!!! :)
He was a pro! :) He was able to go up the street, turn around and come back without even putting his foot down. :) We are so proud of him... and he is so proud of himself. He parked his bike, picked up his training wheels and tossed them in the trash... then turned to me and said, "I don't need these anymore!" :)  Good job buddy. We are so proud of you! :)
